The only One
God’s Only Son,
Carried the tree,
To save you and me,
The Lord was whipped and stabbed,
They nailed him in place,
To become the Savior of the human race,
The blood flowed and flowed down His Body,
As He hung from the tree,
What seemed liked an eternity,
Mary and others cried,
When He went limp on the cross and died,
Even Mother Nature herself was sad and blue,
That this happened to one so holy and true,
He died for all,
To wipe away the sins of man from the Fall,
After He died,
He carried the tree,
To save you and me,
