I love it! FINALLY the Atheist community has become a religious viewpoint of its own. Now there is something to talk about. The Agnostic viewpoint has straddled the two sides for too long, saying whatever is needed to be heard, sitting on the fence. It is about time that those atheists who see no intelligent Creator in the "big Bang" stood up and got counted.

As a non-traditional Christian, I fully expect that Atheists may well out-number those who want to call themelves Christians. This is the new wave - the way the pendulum swings, and I am all for it. I prefer people who declare their FAITH - yes or no, not "maybe". Yes, Atheism is a faith, a belief that all that we see with our senses is all that can be called truth; that what science declares as true, is the truth, and that there is no unknown supernatural or supranatural force that we don't know about. That's fine with me. Go for it atheists. We can have some REAL debates now. Perhaps the agnostics will get off the fence and decide where their faith will lie.

In a true sense of freedom of religion is this the correct way to go as long as there is a sense of reverence for the other's belief and one side doesn't judge openly: "Who is going to hell?"

Now who has made such statements over the years ... those that don't believe in God/Love or the opposing pole? If you beat on a dog long enough it will come back to haunt you? Is cautious compassion a less risky path to take in life? What would we know the way we've been taught in the past: conquest, conquering, competition and destruction is the way to get rich and burn the earth in the process ... options?

It's got to make the thinking devil chuckle! What think in a church environment, where the laws are laid down? By whom one might ask ... ulterior, sacred, secret motives? Who would know ... Gnostic Spirit? You wouldn't be allowed to say if you knew!

Secrecy and privacy laws ... who do they protect? You as a Pagan! Go way wit' yah!
