Wondercafe blog readers who are bird watchers may rejoice,
Theres a bird photo booth travelling around Toronto taking pictures of birds on behalf of businesses competing to win prizes.
Quest asks Torontonians to take the time to gaze at birds up close, and learn a litle bit about each species so they might later recognize certain markings and calls and so come to comprehend the bird'spersonalities , their very characters when next they see them, or hear them, in trees around town.
It gives me Rob Campbell great pleasure to introduce the Bird Photo Booth Challenge
Its precisely because I commend this Wondercafe Community on being such great original thinkers, that I'm so honoured to present my creation here. You know, I lose hours in here sometimes... And so truly I love it when I hear from any of you.. Any feedback from other bloggers makes me happy because i probably read your wisdom soaked long copy blog posts, unique on the web, here before. Indeed this community is a temple of hih qualiyt eclesiastical thought and debate with its own creative apologists apologizing to unseen prosecutors and .yes. bird watchers. I see there's a thread in the discussion forum about birdwatching.? how many of you enjoy birdwatching?
It brings me great pleasure to present a media monument that I'm creating this summer,
This is something i started to showcase some new loyalty programs software, still in development and pls dont be put off by the challenge part - its a storytelling exercise more than a contest; there are no printed rules.
Really its more of a six month storytelling project about the many different avian residents of this great city and where they are encountered and why.. and thats the fascinating part. Why are the different birds where they are.?
In this advanced content marketing model we make media about the birds and not so much about the business. This is more evolved good-for-society type storytelling about sparrows and starlings, crows and canaries than it is about companies,
I blogged about it on SMOJoe blog, SMOJoe presents the Toronto Bird Photo Booth Business Challenge. And I told the whole story about how it came about, and thanked an office phones company that donated an iPhone 5c
And you can read these stories as the program unfolds here,

To get started, I simply bought some medium expensive equipment including a Wingscapes BirdPro trail camera and iPhone 5c for Bryson Lovette's 'Bird Photo Booth' rig - both devices are equipped with motion detectors to make a fully automated solution.
Businesses compete based on images the booth collects when visiting their address.
What this unique challenge needs is more drivers who run businesses looking for exposure that have backyards or rooftops or bird friendly gardens and verandas; each host business gets good media attention. And also we need sponsors , bird friendly garden merch, birdseed, houses, bird baths.
This thing might 'take off' if we get the right people behind it . .!
Are you one of them?
