Yesterday I was downtown at 20 Bay st and I went for coffee at the Second Cup. Under the prep station as you know, they keep the trash. It was spilling out the top. While I was adding milk and sugar to my brew I happened to gaze down and to my horror... and I saw... Second Cup does not recycle their milk containers!
Halloween came and went and I have loot bag full of memories. The Oct 31st event is now the fourth largest holiday in America for consumer spending - can you name the other three? dont forget Mother's day

We do have fun in Toronto in September, because there's just so much going on. Everyone that's anyone knows someone with film festival tickets or theatre passes or admittance to exhibitions or afterparties of some description. Just yesterday there was a slide show by local photographers in Tinto on Roncesvalles.

Let me tell you a little story about Siera Bearchell, a 16yr old girl that lives in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan
In Januray 2009 the Bearchell family home burned to the ground, and Siera was left homeless.
So then she entered the miss teen canada beauty pageant in May, and championed a 'disaster relief' platform.
