Every thing I've read or see lately is about empty pews and sunday schools.  OOO, poetry.

They did it again.  A prayer to the Lord to help those who need our pity:  the disenfranchised.  The poor, the ill, the homeless, the addict, those in jail, the disabled.....

Me again, thinking about the language we use when we pray.  My quest, or ONE of my quests, is to demystify language.  The other is to allow humans to feel their own self worth.  We have to start, I think, in our initial experience in life, our families.

I have never done this before, so you must bear with me.  I ALWAYS have something to say, I'm famous for it.  Well, infamous perhaps.  I'm a psychotherapist.  Started late in my career.  I'm 60..62 I guess.  Missed a couple of years there.
