Administrators ("admin” for short) manage the technical details of running the site. They may also perform mod functions as required.

Tasks and Duties

Is anyone else having issues with this website today? Everything is normal when I go to the topics page, but when I go to open a thread, the layout is completely different (and very basic). The background is completely white, everything is off to the left, and things that are normally on the right, the list of keywords for example, are on the bottom.

Over night, I am left with this question. Do you think that Admin does not want regular cafe posters to post on these threads.

It might be good for them to come on the board and tell us their expectations.

Posts have been disappearing to day. from different threads. Do we have a Purple People Post Eater? Anyone know why they disappear?

Is anyone else getting threads labelled as "new" in their profile/track section. Usually, this area will show threads I have participated in, in the order of most recent downward. These threads that aren't even active are coming up as "new" and I see no new activity in any of them. I'm wondering if the admins are doing some work that has changed the settings or removed some posts.

I guess this is directed to Admin. If someone posts  "offensive", do you as overseer of the site, make the decision to remove the thread?

Who is told? Is a wondermail sent to the poster who starts the thread?

How are the other posters who weighed in on the thread told it has been removed?

Admin, can you give us an update on this?
