Below is a good interview with Dawkins, right from Playboy, which everyone reads for the articles.
Note that there are NSFW (not safe for work) though strategicaly blocked (technically non-nude) images in the menu and background, and of course, at the Playboy site you're one click away from naked ladies. But the interview is quite good, and worth sharing.

Below is my response to my colleague, Bruce Sanguine, as part of an on-going email exchange within Vancouver Burrard Presbytery. I'd be interested in other's responses.
Learning is a real twist in the fabrication of an ideal (idee is an old word for fixation). It sort of reminds me of Jack Nicholson in his ness't ... One Flew ...
Does tory tell m'n kind things he can't take as T'Ruth in recall?

I've been away working on the road a lot, but popped into WC to find yet another "evolution vs. creationism" debate. Great timing because the earliest known hominid skeleton has been discovered, an extremely significant event.
Here is a short article, and the full story and many of the research papers can be seen here:

As a person of faith who'se totally comfortable with the idea of evolution, I can't help wondering about the future of our vulnerably egocentric species. I know evolution is (like economics) an historical-based science with no predictive power... but I find it interesting to fantasise about the species that might evolve from Homo sapiens sapiens.
Hi folks. I came across this resource while searching for resources for home schooling science. I highly recommend it to those whishing to get some good, solid information on homonid evolution, in plain language. The documentary is great, and the additional explorations are also very valuable.
"Becoming Human is an interactive documentary experience that tells the story of our origins. Journey through four million years of human evolution with your guide, Donald Johanson."

Nice call, Harper. Great choice. Freaking morons. Any other insults necessary to fill out 10 words.
All that I am really sure of is that some Creative Force, with some intelligent intent began with the creation of our Universe. Now that I have said this, I even wonder if I am stuck in "time talk", and this universe was always there, "unfolding as it should". However, the idea that it moves towards a higher level of complexity over time has also stuck with me, indicating some kind of "intent" or "direction" within a time frame context. So this becomes my Creative God.
My question should really be this: is Richard Dawkins' staunch promotion of evolution = atheism defeating the cause to promote scientific literacy in the United States and other countries that reject evolutionary theory?
If you are familaar with Star Trek V, The Undiscovered Country, the plot is that Spock's half brother is trying to find God. God is beyond the Barrier that legend says that no starship can go beyond. Apparently, this being was communicating with Sybock, Spock's half brother, and told him that the barrier could be crossed.
