The fitness thread has been popular enough that maybe a thread for healthy recipes is worthwhile as well.
I could also use some meal ideas :)

I need some ideas for popcorn toppings. I love popcorn so much that I ran out (or the bag I use to refill a nice container for pouring it into the machine is hiding). Who runs out of popcorn?
I'm a fan of butter & salt, but also like the commercial toppings like all dressed, dill pickle, etc. I've also used seasoning salt and bacon salts.
So to start off I'm going to say I've struggled with self harm, low self esteem, blah blah blah. All the common teenager stuff. I have recently discovered that working out relaxes me a lot, and I'm also trying to cut things like chips and pop out of my diet. Now I've been researching some healthy snacks, and some exercises from some very... extreme sites, and I'm starting to wonder; will I start out with healthy amounts of food and slowly slip into something more serious? I'm afraid that I'll slip into an eating disorder. Any thoughts on ways I can avoid this?
Our ancestors sat down at their kitchen tables and thought, “Thank God, we get to eat tonight.”
We don’t have to do that, so we are losing our reverence for food.
I grew up on a farm. Many times I’ve been asked, “How could you eat a cow that you knew?” The answer is: reverently.
This is National Holodomor Awareness Week Nov. 22-28.
This is to remember the Ukranian famine genocide from 1932 -1033 under Stalin's Communist regime where l1 million Ukranians died.
Saskatchewan passed Bill No. 40 , an act to recognize Holodomor in 2008.
The United Nations passed a similar bill.
Senator Raynell Adreychuck wrote " We must never again allow a repressive regime to use food as a weapon for the pursuit of ideological views and goals."
So how well do you think we are doing?
