I was home in bed, sick, and I needed something to watch. Having cancelled my cable TV a few years ago, I decided to give Itune movies a try and I found One Week.. It appealed to me as it was the story of one week in Ben Tyler (Joshua Jackson) life. A Toronto man in his mid twenties engaged to be married, just starting out in his career as a teacher and writer. The film starts with him being diagnosed with an aggressive cancer that is in stage 4. With treatment the Doctor gives him a 10% chance of beating it.

Most trinitarians accept that God is three persons, father, son, and holy ghost.
But what can make sure that God consists of three persons? What if he simply hasn't revealed a fourth person to us yet? How do we know that there are exactly three and not two or just one with three "masks"?
Seems this progressive Anglican church in New Zealand had caused a stir with a billboard with the caption "Poor Joseph. God is a hard act to follow."

I am going to present a couple of video's over the next week.
I hope you will tell me if you like them, if they would enhance your worship, if you find them good or not, etc.
Critique is what we like to do...and of course, it is wide open.
There is a new service in Israel that will take your tweets to God and print and then take them to put into the wailing wall.
This raises several questions. Does God hear our tweets? Do you need to keep your prayers to under 140 charactors? Can you use abreviations? Will twitter keep a copy of our prayers/tweets forever? Can I just add #God or #prayertoGod (#ptg for short) to my tweets/prayers?
Okay, I'm going to play devil's advocate for a moment.
Anyone who knows me, knows I don't believe in hell, or a God of damnation and punishment. But ....
Ok, I have never blogged...but lately I've just had many things going through my mind, just like many people I suppose...I'm not sure who reads these, if it's for the reader, for the writer or both...but here goes...
Rev. Gretta Vosper wrote a book which included this in the title - why how we live is more important than what we believe. I've thought the same for many years, but last Saturday experienced what I think is the living embodiment of this. I was privileged to conduct a memorial service for the sister of a good friend. While the family was born Buddhist, they were not active in a congregation. Since I have also begun to practice Buddhism, the service combined Christian and Buddhist elements.
