Senator Duffy cameout with various accusation against the Prime Minister's office, which if true, shows them to be liers, corrupot, and holding Canada, and all Canadians with contempt.

However Duffy is one with a histroy of lieing, and in this case, if what he claims happened is true, he himself is as guilty of any crimes as the PM.

However Harper, and other conservatives when asked in the House of Common, refuse to resposnd, and instead just attack the opposition parties.

Personally, I never did believe that these so-called "protesters" were the real deal, and suspected that this was a staged travesty. Read the part about how they didn't need a permit to protest like everyone else.  Is Harper even allowed to do this? Does he think Canadians are stoooopid?

And why it hasn't it been covered by the rest of the media??? The cbc hasn't touched this story yet. Wonder if it will?

Is it possible that Stephen Harper's unconditional support for Israel is related to his decision to take proactive steps to reduce unfavourable precedents for dealing with First Nations Land Claims.  If Israel is discouraged by Canada from cleansing the West Bank of Palestinians, would this provide a precedent supporting far more generous terms for settling land claims in Canada?  If Canada refuses to criticize Israel's behaviour, this avoids the preceding presedent.

Why on earth would Canada cut relations with Iran? It has no significant effect on Iran or on Canada. The reasons that are given are absurd. Iran the worst threat to world peace?

Was tortured (illegal)

Was tried - illegal to try a child soldier, - and tried in a military court (no right to hear full evidence, confessions obtained by torture are accepted).

Excuse me, but aren't the Canadian energy companies involved in this also "flush with foreign money"?? What is this country coming to??

The sad part is that it was apparent that this is the direction the Tories would move if elected.  And people still voted them in.

I can scarcely believe the poll results I'm seeing. In all seriousness, I had given up hope for Canada. It was obvious that Harper was a blind ideologue, and thoroughly anti-democracy. This isn't wild, political name calling. He has many times demonstrated his loathing for democracy. And he is owned by  corporate money even more than John A. Macdonald was.
