The coming out of NBA player Jason Collins has prompted a lot of reaction, both positive and negative. Just finished an editorial on the "Christian" reaction (and I do have a reason for putting that in quotes).

I just came across this article as I was surfing the internet tonight: http://www.kansascity.com/2012/05/02/3590274/missouri-lawmaker-announces-hes.html#storylink=omni_popular.

Hey All!
I know I haven’t been here in ages (well actually years), but I write with a request for help.
This is an amost 100% accurate story of my coming out. I have condensed two or three conversations into one for your reading pleasure.
I DO NOT WANT THIS TO START YET ANOTHER DEBATE ON HOMOSEDXUALITY.
I hope this could be a thread where people share about their experiences telling their families, friends and (possibly even) their spouses they were gay. We can hear all storts of funny, sad, and happy stories.
Also, I wouldn't find some creative criticism on my writing style, and errors I make.
A friend of mine dropped me a note to say:
My good friend Jesus and I were discussing mortgage renewals, and which would be better, to renew for 1 year @ 3.25%, or 4 years @ 4.15%.
He wanted to know what I thought. I replied as follows:
I am realtively new here, and do not want to post if this topic already exists somewhere else. I tired to find it but could not. I could see allusions to it all over the place, but not specifically on the topic I have in mind. I also had no idea what forum to actually put it under. I chose Religion and Faith, cause it seems closest to philosophy and science, which is probably where this should go.
I am feeling nauseous.
