How do we know what we know?
What helps us? What hinders us? What is this thing called Truth?
I start this thread especially for fellow WCers chansen and Berserk. Anyone else is, of course, encouraged to join in.
This thread is an attempt for us to discuss these very important things, like how do we know what we know.
The time is now, in the near future.
There you are, at your service. It is time for communion.
You get up with your fellow congregants and wait in line.
When it is your turn, you put the Host in your mouth and wait for the reaction to occur...the meaty-infused Host literally transubstantiating in your mouth to that rich and bloody taste.
So much to celebrate.
At 1 second per second, 1 minute per minute, 1 hour per hour, 1 day per day...
Enjoy your feasting, fellow genties and ladlemen of the canucklehead persuasion.
If I had the time and the money, this 10-30-10, I would go to Washington DC to see two TITANS battling for the very spirit of the US.
Ah, sweet hilaritas. This is my kind of activism.
(somewhere, the Deli Llama is laughing)
Christchurch, NZ -- AP Reuters Frooty-Tootie Dork Sith.
The Kiwi nation was blessed with a caress from Mother Nature at 0435, bringing both Whites and Maori together in a red sticky mess.
"Our plan is almost coming to fruition," said a local member of HAARP, "with this earthquake, Tesla's theories are vindicated, yet again."
genties & ladlemen,
do you remember where you were when the BP Deepwater Horizon went down?
Do you remember how you felt? The rage and/or sadness and/or feeling of injustice?
Do you remember how you reacted to the pictures of the oil slicks? Do you remember the pictures of the oil-soaked wildlife?
Ok. Now, after it has been capped...where is the oil?
I like looking.
Like when I look at myself from my cat's point of view. Or my Cabin in the Mists from a stranger's point of view. Or the day's date from another calender's point of view.
So, here we go, with another point of view.
Here is a satellite picture of the birthplace of a lot of WCers belief systems.
Look at it. No borders at all. No divisions. The sky is part of the land is part of the waters...
I came across this delightful, quiet, British discussion. Just two people, discussing ideas, sharing in the common human experience.
