i write this from seat 17, car 5 (oh how well i know you), Amtrak flight 513 at the old train station and bus boutique near the Main Street SkyTrain station in the City of Jewels on a very sunny morning  -- my wife said it is predicted to be a scorcher today (on the telly last night i saw that the Ewe Ess Eh is going through a horrific drought; i also saw this NDP guy chastising the Minister of Agriculture for not reassuring farmers -- apparently the 'hanging fruit' crop in certain parts of Canada are GONE KAPUT)
