If there was only God, no Jesus , the man, no Spirit and for those who believe  no 3 in 1.

Just God.  God is very important in my life      - with me minute by minute , day by day but if there was only God, there would be no stories of  Jesus- no parables, no life lessons, no teachings of love and Agape. Theer might be Spirit but would I recognize it without the parables and metaphors that blows through the New Testement.

I heard on the news today that someone reading from a tweet said that they voted Republican in the US until the party was taken over by "Jesus Freaks".

Anyone want to take a stab a telling us who they are?

CBC Music published a list of songs with "Jesus" in the title. Of course you could probably go on much longer if you also include songs like "Spirit in the Sky" and "Suzanne" that mention him in the lyrics but not the title. Funny thing is that I don't really know most of the list. The only one I know well is Green Day's Jesus of Suburbia, which is one of my son's favorite Green Day songs.

If Jesus was born , as they say, in December, he would be a Capricorn. For all you folk who are interested in the Zodiac or Astrology, do you think that Capricorn describes him in the Bible?

Jesus was a visionary.

Can the two be compatible with each other and the word visionary? Seem like two different visions to me. What do you think?
