The Fontana affair

Right now, London, Ontario is embroiled in a controversy over our mayor, Joe Fontana. Joe used to be the MP for my riding and was a cabinet minister under Paul Martin. He left Federal politics and ran twice for mayor, winning over incumbent Anne-Marie DeCicco-Best on his second try. Now, his past has come back to haunt him. He faces charges of fraud, breach of trust, and uttering forged documents related to his alleged use of Federal funds to pay for his son's wedding during his time on Cabinet.

The polls are stunning

I can scarcely believe the poll results I'm seeing. In all seriousness, I had given up hope for Canada. It was obvious that Harper was a blind ideologue, and thoroughly anti-democracy. This isn't wild, political name calling. He has many times demonstrated his loathing for democracy. And he is owned by  corporate money even more than John A. Macdonald was.

To the Liberals Of Wondercafe

Hello Liberals and everyone misfortunate enough to read my posts from about a week ago.

This has been a difficult few weeks for me ( as some of you already)  know because of some issues in my personal life.  That is not an excuse but it is the reason I have been edgy and looking for a fight.

It is a little late but I am here to offer my apologies for the tirade about the liberals.

I'm sorry.  (again)

The latest Strategic Counsel poll, conducted between Feb. 5 and Feb. 9 for CTV and the Globe and Mail, shows that the two main parties have seen a shift in support since last October's federal election (difference in brackets):

What do you think of the Liberal "Green Shift"?

It makes sense.
60% (134 votes)
Pure propaganda
30% (66 votes)
Green what?
