Spinrite Factory Outlet at 230 Elma St in Listowel Ontario is Knitters' Paradise..
This store is Heaven on Earth for anyone looking to buy knitting supplies; they'll find no greater selection of high quality coloured yarn this side of Montreal, and no better prices anywhere else in Canada.
I hate it when the government of the day uses sleight of hand to present service cuts as service improvements. And I hate it even more when that sleight of hand affects a vulnerable population.
If you had listened carefully recently, the Minister of Health made a major funding announcement touting increased access to physiotherapy services, exercise and falls prevention classes in long term care homes and communities.
Have you been to Picton Ontario recently? One of the only landmarks I remember was a large red brick church right on the main street of the town. The church is gone now.
A suspected tornado has hit Goderich, ON this afternoon. It appears that there has been heavy damage, including Victoria St. United Church.

For what it's worth, the Ontario Government has just announced tax breaks for seniors to alleviate utility rate increases.
Amazing video made by private school!
The St. Andrew's College Experience video was produced and directed by William Scoular, St. Andrew's Head of Drama. The video shows what 110 years of single gender education has to offer young men at this private school in Ontario.
Rev. Cheri DiNovo had an interview about her life in Ontario politics now in the Observer. If you have the time, please read it and listen to what she has to say:

She asks "Would that the United Church came to pray and sit with its members!" I think it's really moving.
