This is likely to be my last, or close to last, post on the original Wondercafe. My online time is getting more limited these days so I'm spending more and more of it at the new site. Wondercafe2 is looking great and I'm looking forward to spending time with you all there.
It's been mentioned that the posts from wondercafe will be archived.
Has it been mentioned how we can access the archive once wondercafe closes?
Will they still be searchable?
Someone mentioned how funny it was that this year's lenten study was entitled "Turn Around, Take Off! given the message given about wondercafe closing.
And the Oscar goes to … oops, wrong vote tally.

First off, we want to thank everyone who suggested names and who voted. The new Wondercafe is meant to be a user-supported, user-run community so having participation from the users will be vital to its success.
Apologies that this is a bit tardy, but life intervened yesterday.
I have now activated a survey on Survey Monkey. Pinga ran through the naming thread, and found three that were the most discussed and supported to put on the ballot.

Wondercafe afficienados will be interested to know that Wondercafe was featured in the national media (CBC radio) this morning (Feb 27/2013).It was in the context of how different churches were perceived by younger demographic groups. Unfortunately, Wondercafe was portrayed as a recruiting tool for the UCCan (which was and is not its purpose).
Is anyone else having problems with WC today?
I've gotten a blank page a few times, had a post that poofed, and everything is slow to load. I also can't get the feedback to submit.
