I am curious what people's thoughts are regarding barriers to participation and engagement in this site, especially as they compare to say other online communities or church communities.
I propose that
People have tossed around the idea of a wondercafe conference or gathering.
I am posting this thread to allow us to weave in & out of the idea
Some of the things that come to my mind are:
a) what is unique about wondercafe and contributors that would be interesting to others
b) what would the conference look like? would it have lanes similair to the discussion topics
c) what location would make sense
d) funding / costs / challenges
Everybody saw this, right?

Rather than derail John's thread (since he's pretty specific about what he's seeking), I'll post this thread to state my piece.
How many posters here do you think are in the target group that was originally stated. I forget - 18 - 30?
The majority here seem older than that. What are your thoughts?
I and a couple of my colleagues were wondering...
- How much do you feel you have learned on WonderCafe during your time here?
Last chance to get WonderCafe merchandise! We're discontinuing these items at the end of April 2012! So if you would like something on this list, please order now!
There's a few people who constantly edit there posts.
Some do it to add a bit to a post, or to edit grammar or spelling. They tend to do it only for newer posts. Not really an issue, although I do find it a little irritating for 'x new' posts to show up on a forum when the content is the same. I do this at times, although I try to write things correctly the first time so I don't have to go back. If it's a minor mistake it bugs me, but if there's at least one post after mine I try to ignore it.
What is Easter Really About? Chocolate, eggs, and bunnies?
