You know I am a dinosaur on the computer. Can some one answer a question which is probably stupid but it has me worrying.
When you go to profile and edit and our avatars appear, I also have some pictures of kids , grandkids etc. there as well. When WC goes do those pictures go as well.
Should I move them somewhere else?

If you don't have them stored anywhere else.

There are many image hosting sites on the 'Net. Well known ones are Flickr (owned by Yahoo! so if you have a Yahoo! account, you can use that to access Flickr) and Photobucket but there are some others. Best bet is to move your photos to one of them. If you want to display them on WC2 or elsewhere, you can embed them using a link.

Crazyheart, not a silly question at all.
I hadnt thought of it, as I haven't uploaded photos.
Glad you brought it up.
Yes, the photos will go.
You will want to esure they are saved.

Yes Crazy heart
Click the mouse on them
choose "Save As"
Choose your destop as location (if you want them to be easy to find right now)
Later get someone to help you organize them into files (with back up)

crazyheart,
and its always a good idea to have more than one copy of your photos in more than one location
in my case, i have hard copies of my photos in one of my rooms, electronic copies on my netbook here and copies on photobucket
that way, if something goes horrifically wrong (earthquake, my netbook dies, the 'net explodes) i am more likely to keep my treasured photos
