Future generations will be asking, "Where were you May 9th, 2013?"
"Atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide surpassed a notable milestone this week.
They reached a daily average above 400 parts per million, reported NOAA, for the first time in human history.
The milestone, hit on May 9, may be symbolic, notes Climate Central, but manmade CO2 emissions from the burning of fossil fuels continue to rise, bringing greater atmospheric warming and exacerbating the effects of climate change."

Finally watched it all the way through and it really captures all that is right about Hadfield and what he's been doing as commander of the ISS. I've been watching humans and our robots travelling into space almost my entire life (I was born in 1965). Astronomy, astrophysics, and space exploration are among my favorite subjects and if I had the math aptitude of, say, my son, I might well be doing that instead of IS management. I honestly don't think anyone has inspired as much interest and excitement about space as Chris in a very long time. Looking at his photos and videos, I'm wishing it was me up there. If he hits London on his inevitable post-mission speaking tour (and I suspect he will given his connections to nearby Sarnia), I'll be there with bells on.

Evan Hadfield (Chris' son) tweeted this pic of the interior of the Soyuz capsule. I assume claustrophobia is one of the things that they wash you out for in NASA.

Inanna
I checked out some videos up top too.
Another Hadfield fan here. I was on pins and needles watching the landing. Today's Star says he's taking some time to recover, dizziness etc.
That was some trip......"Wasn't That A Party....!!!!"
The Can. Space Agency president's chair is vacant. He says he's not in shape to think about filling it at the moment.
He's the last one out of the capsule at about 30 min...man...I was nervous waiting.....(the other video above on here won't play)

First music video ever recorded in space......a first...!!!..
Indian American astronaut Sunita Williams, along with two other cosmonauts, July 17 successfully docked their Soyuz spacecraft with the International Space Station for a four-month long stay during which they will conduct over 30 scientific missions.

Why did they play a tango throughout this video?
Because it takes two to tango, but only one to stop it.
