Respectful behaviour always as per the Wondercafe guidelines. Please review these and commit to them.

Debates are ok if it's clear that's what the thread is for and it's named as: Debate – Topic.   It's not ok to start a debate on another person's thread. Please start another thread if you are tempted to debate.

Please start another thread for off-topic discussions unless they meet with approval from the person who started the thread.

Try to understand the “spirit” of a topic or thread. Please don't jump in to a reflective personal sharing thread with a heavily scholastic or teasing post. Realize please, that real people are here.  Similarily, respect a lighthearted thread as such, and not a soapbox for serious stuff.  We are so much more than our opinions.

Careful with humour – it can be easily misinterpreted as disrespect.

Ponder the difference between an opinion and a fact.

Threads will have a longer “shelf life” here. Don't be discouraged if posting is slow. Don't start another comparable thread if another is active.

This is (for now) a moderated group –  members are approved by the moderator.   New members can always be added via recommendation by current ones. Please do this responsibly and with regard to a potential member's posting history and attitude.

The moderator reserves the right to discontinue memberships if a poster neglects the guidelines or is disruptive. 

Remember that there are always the public Wondercafe forums to post on.
