A little Blue

Good morning everyone - I am trying to force a good mood to happen for me today...I am really struggling this past few days...I can't seem to care about anything or anyone

Seriously,  I think I might be depressed, maybe I need to start a thread?  I dunno, I am just not feeling much of anything...anyone have any good ideas to help me out of this?

Hi Redhead,

I haven't checked back here in ages, but I am hoping that this month has seen you feeling stronger.

Summer warmth helps so much but when you are still struggling it can make you hot and feel restricted.

Have you enjoyed the flowers and the peopole who are now all out on the streets.  It is one of my favourite parts of summer that suddenly you see people strolling and sitting.

Hi redhead - like lastpointe, I've not checked over here in a looooong time ... reminder to self to check in more often!   I just sent you a wondermail before reading this ... hope your plans are settling out for you.  Stay cool.  C.

Yeah ... ups and downs.  It is well known that when one suffers a massive neurological insult such as you have suffered that "feeling chipper" is an uphill battle.  The main thing though is that you want to feel upbeat but are perhaps just now (or at least last May) were feeling a little overwhelmed.  If people who get the flu (and suffer neural damage as a result) can feel overwhelmed there is no reason to expect you will not.  A common mistake made by family members and doctors of persons who have suffered from, say, flu is to conclude that just because "old dad" seems listless and  crabby after he got sick that he is suffering from depression.  Hang in there redhead.  I've seen the sparkle in your eyes.
