Not on the same scale as some places, but we had some record-breaking heat in July and a severe storm system rolled through a week ago with tornado reports just West of us. The lightning took out my office's Internet (it's a wireless connection hosted on a local radio tower that was struck). However, I know some people affected by the Goderich tornado, so I know it could be much worse.

In June and July, we had record amounts of rainfall. Roads slid, and bridges fell out. There was a lot of flooding in this area. I've never seen so much rain!
