I try to find new and current information  about UCC Churches doing things around accessibility. It looks like St Paul's United  is doing something  great.

I found in the local Milton newspaper.http://www.miltoncanadianchampion.com/opinions/article/265550

Going to Queen's Park

Some of you know that I have been fighting to get proper services for my severely disabled daughter, and have been stymied in many different ways by the Provincial government.  Thanks to the helpfulness of the Ontario NDP, Daria and I will be in attendance at Queen's Park on Wednesday for Question Period, when there will be a question asked to the government about their refusal to fund the programs they have already established to help people like us.

In Cancer, a Deeper Faith

I am setting up a section of my web site (accessiblechurch.ca )that will have links to current news articles and Blog postings that deal with issues of concerns of disability, illness, and Faith. Today in the New York Times there was this article which I though was so well written that I should post the link here.

Am I just too strange or too different

Since my sister has been ill, I have been getting to know more lay people in my congregation, and I am realizing how different I really am. Last year I was officially diagnosed with PDD-NOS a condition in the autism spectrum. Very little is known about Autism.
