I have a contract with Telus internet for three years. There is one year left of it. The contract includes free Telus security. It's quite good, I like it. I have used AVG free in the past and it seems to work too. People tell me Avast is also good. Norton, on the other hand, seems to find its way in on other programs, like malware would. You have to be sure to opt OUT or they will inclued it automatically wether you want it or not. I found in the past that running two security programs at once doesn't work because they attack each other, haha!

'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'
'I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!'
I was part of the most recent general assembly of Occupy Kamloops. We gathered in the upper room of a downtown cafe. There we talked and listened to each other. The small video below makes present my participation as observer and interpreter.
For more than thirty years I have been practicing a personal resistance by resort to public theatre. Imagine my delight to have a niece send me the bit of drama below, with her suggestion that I get a megaphone.
Central to Bob Marley's lyric narrative is the theme of captivity in Babylon. We may take it that Bob has offered us an elaboration of a faithful response to a world deeply wounded, to the point of death, by the pursuit of power in all of its manifestations.
Our western ideology is premised on a radical discontinuity between the ethical obligation to seek and do the right and the unlimited pursuit of personal power for personal advantage without ethical limit.
Examining western social reality closely reveals a material standard far exceeding legitimate human need. We have obtained this at the high cost of devastated environments and the dissolution of human trust, happiness, peace and love. Can it be that we have sold our eternal soul for a momentary gratification?
