I know there are wise and compassionate folks on this site.

I also recognize that there are those who have lived through tough times..when just breathing was about all that you were up to.

I am hoping that all you wise people will list out ideas for supporting folks who are going through treatments or their families.  Of course, it doesn't have to be cancer treatments; however, I figure it is one of the more common scenarios that you might think of

I am a grade 12 student, and for my Enlish final project I have to write a report. I choose to write about females, mostly  younger females in different cultures and how they are treated in conflict. I have already read the books  The Bite of the Mango by Mariatu Kamara, which is really good. I also read The Diary of Anne Frank .

Points that i plan on discussing are: How /why  girls not valued as much as boys are?

i have MS, and so i've had no end of people coming to me and saying 'have you heard about this zamboni dude in italy??'
