This is a Twitter account I've been following for a while, and thought I should pass along. It's run by teacher of Biblical Studies from some university which he or she has wisely not disclosed. He or she posts excerpts from students' assignments. It is a wonderful Twitter account.
A few recent ones:

There's a website that tracks homophobic languange on twitter.
I was actually a little surprised how often faggot has been used today, it's not something that people I hang out with say often (unlike 'so gay') but I'm not exactly a teen either.
I did watch the feed for a little while, and positively, not all the words are being used in a negative way, some are actually tweeting about the site!

Anyone else ever looked at their Facebook/Google +/Twitter friends and gone "Who is that and why did I friend him/her?" Just happened to me. I was checking my FB and I had a wall update from a guy I wasn't sure of. Checked his FB and it turned out that he's the pastor of the local Metropolitan Community Church. Now, all I can think of is that I friended him back when we worked with them and some other local churches (including at least on UCCan) on a service for London Pride.
Hi Folks,

A few weeks ago, our news media carried many stories about the election in Iran and about the protests that followed. Much of that information came from twitter messages coming out of Iran.\, apparently thousand of them, and most of them critical of the government.
Predictably, that led to a lot of speculation that a new age of communication was upon us. No longer could oppressive governments control the news. The people, with twitter, are now in touch with each other, and the truth will out.
Maybe, but....
I know wonder cafe is on Twitter but we can observe a great migration on Friendfeed. It would be great if wondercafe post on friendfeed also.
It's very easy to integrate all social network together. When I post on my blog, on twitter, I mark a video in my favorite in youtube, one blog I follow post... it's appear everywhere... even on facebook!
So I don't need to surf the web anymore :-)

Please join us as the church meets, even if you won't be in Kelowna!
To keeps my actions consistent with my philosophy, I'm now on Twitter:
