Maybe the problem with our Language regarding faith and God is that we are using words written by theologians and politicians to create our statements of faith.
Perhaps we should be using art created by musicians, writers and other artists in creating expressions of faith, or any statements.
Was not the New and Old Testament created by artists, even Paul could be consider an artist as much as a theologian.
I was listening to my Ipod Touch on Shuffle mode and these songs came up in this order. Its was especially cool as Linus went into Cher(yes I use my ipod for listening to music too) Charlie Browns Christmas, The Meaning of Christmas, Cher`s Adiifferent kind of Love song, John Hiatt`s Have a Little Faith In Me, The Beatles here comes the Sun. Trois Études de Concert, S. 144: Etude No. 3 in D-Flat Major, "Un Sospiro" by Liszt. Just play with a few of the words and it works.
All are secular except the first but they can be easily interperted in a spiritual, Christian, and Process Relational Way.
As Art I am in essential agreement with all of them.
Linus quotes the New Testament.
The Cher song is very Process and Whiteheadian so I call it Process Cher.
Hyatt Song Have a Little Faith in Me is very Augustinian if one replaces the pronouns to represent Me as God, etc.
The Beatles Song natural lends itself to be heard as Here Comes the Son.
Liszt song is just an expression of beauty and movement, without being limited by words.
Could you be in essential agreement with any of these. Could music, art and beauty be the Emerging Church Pentacost experience where we all hear our voices in different ways but still understand what each of us do?
If you only have time for one video I recommend "Have a Little Faith In Me" as it is interesting in that the lyrics are Augustinian/neo-platonic are juxstiposed over a video that is very Aquainis, Emerging or Practicing theology
Does anyone understand what I am tring to express?

I would say very much so.
We try to explain God, when God is a feeling, like art, music and beauty. Something that you need to just let flow through you.
Ever try to read one of WaterBuoy's posts? Giberish, BUT, if you let it flowthrough you, they are poetry of the highest caliber!

Another thing about art is not can it mean different things to different people, but it can also mean different things to the same person at different times.
This morning I realised these four songs could in this order can take you emotionally through the main points behind Christianity.
Linus = Birth of Jesus
Different Kind of Love Song = Ministry of Jesus
Have a Little Faith = Death of Jesus
Here Comes the Sun = Resurrection
