OOO! Blog!

Wow, blogs! I barely even use this aspect of the site, I should more often. What do I do with my blog? Ask questions? Tell stories? THE POSSIBILITIES SEEM ENDLESS! I have an idea! I'll speak about my life! hmmm...

Well, there's this problem I've been having. It's dumb teenager stuff, I suggest you stop here if you're expecting something differant.

As most of you PROBABLY know, I'm gay. So, there's this guy. I want to call him Horace, because I really like that name, so let's call him Horace. Now, Horace is a pretty cool guy. I thought I "felt" for him. Now I don't. But there is a problem. I was telling a friend about this over another glorious socializing site somewhat like this (deviantart) which I thought was pretty secure, kinda private. Turns out it wasn't, and Horace found his way to our conversation and found out everything.

Now, I would be fine with this, but there's another problem. Horace is very close friends with some of my very close friends. So, predictably, we spend a decent amount of time in eachother's personal bubbles. The horrible thing is, whenver I go to say hi to my lovely friends, or sit down with them to eat lunch, he practically SHOOTS "NEGATIVE" OUT OF HIS EYES AT ME! It's horrendously awkward! I just wish the two of us could find some common ground, at least. I'm not saying we have to be best buds, but we should at least not hate eachother. Any advice?

Now some good stuff. The good stuff is my favorite.

I'm going for my frivers test AGAIN on the 22nd, it's my friends birthday party on Saturday, I'm invited to an awards show on the 26th, my brother's grad is on the 28th and I don't have ANY homework tonight. But I do have to clean my fish bowl. Oh well, I don't mind that.

Thanks! Hopefully this time I won't fly through a play ground zone 10 above the limit...

Well ... as a complete outsider, I am drawn to the following: he practically SHOOTS "NEGATIVE" OUT OF HIS EYES AT ME!"

I guess my question is, is this your stuff or his? Are you seeing this by your interest being perceived as public or is he, in fact, uncomfortable with the knowledge of your interest? Regardless, fwiiw, you have a gift most cyber relationships do not posses ... the opportunity for personal connexion. So, if you are comfortable, find safe space and name this to him in a way he might hear it and see what happens from there ...

I wonder if Horace is not quite so comfortable with his gayness, asssuming he is, as you are.  Perhaps he is not gay and is not happy about the "possible fact"being broadcast.

I think Foinavar has pointed the way.  You're going to have to get him in a safe space and do the hey man, I thought routine.  He may still be pissed off, gay but in the closet or not gay, but at least you can lay it out.  At that point it becomes his to do with as he will.

Good luck.

Also, watch out for the sneaky no right turn signs under all the other signs that most people miss.

No advice for the guy cause as you can tell from my other forum I am not doing so well in that area either....

But about the drivers test or should I say "frivers" test LOL. First watch out for stop lights they have a pesky hait of always turning to yellow before you realize it and then your driving through a yellow light and FAIL. But really as long as you take things slowly (aka no speeding lol) you'll be fine. The key is to relax and tell yourself I can do this... I am going to pass. It'll work! Good luck with Horace and your driving test!

You know those cement blocks that you pull up to in parking lots?  When I took my driver's test at age 16, the instructor and I went out to the car in the parking lot. Not realizing that there was one of those cement blocks in front of the front wheel, I put it in Drive, drove over the cement block, and got the block locked between the front and rear axels.  Not good...  Unbelievably, though, the instructor showed me how to get out of this mess, continued on with the test, and passed me.  The point is... even if mistakes happen, you never know...  I hope you get a good examiner.
