This year the Agassiz United Church celebrates 110 years of ministering to the communities of Agassiz and Harrison Hot Springs in BC’s beautiful Fraser Valley. Our recently remodeled sanctuary provides a welcoming atmosphere for worship, music, and community events. We build fellowship with worship services, pastoral visits, dinners, teas, garage sales, Bible study, United Church Women and discussion groups. Our annual Social Justice Film Festival raises consciousness of the world beyond ourselves.
Worship begins at 10:30 am. Children go to Sunday School after Children’s Time. A lively Coffee Time follows.
The rural community of Agassiz is situated in the eastern Fraser Valley of BC's Lower Mainland. In addition to being situated in a picturesque, rural setting, Agassiz is rimmed by the peaks of the coastal mountain range including the spectacular Mt. Cheam. Agassiz has the friendliness and peacefulness of a small town. The community ranges from young working families to retirees escaping the hectic pace of city life.
