Calvary was truly blessed this past January to welcome Reverend Kenji Marui and his family. Kenji has been an ordained minister for the past 11 years. He enjoys the challenge of connecting our ancient faith story and scripture, to our present day situation, in an engaging and interactive manner. His work in the larger church has focused on children and youth ministry, racial justice and sexuality education in the church.
Kenji grew up on a farm near Mitchell. He holds an undergraduate degree in environmental studies as well as a Masters of Divinity from Queen's University and Theological College. Kenji has previously served congregations in Arkona-Ravenswood and Glencoe-Appin. Kenji is also a self-professed nerd, iron chef, bookworm, basketball fan and patron of CBC Radio3
About the Service
Sunday service is at 10:30. We have a very safe and welcoming nursery for little ones and Sunday school classes are held each week for ages 3(JK) to grade 9.

What music is played during services?
Traditional styles are featured on the organ and piano with Senior Choir. "Millstream," a gospel ensemble and two youth choirs add a contemporary sound to worship.
What youth programs do you have?
Calvary currently has 3 youth groups - T.A.G. for grades 1-3, CKC's for grades 4-6 and "The Groupies" grades 7 and the "Jesus' Chicks for high school and university age girls.

Is the church accessible?
Calvary is wheel chair accessible at the back parking lot door with a lift to the sanctuary. As well, our chancel is accessible for anyone wishing to join the choir!

Friday, September 16th is a welcome back "Dinner and a Movie" for kids in grades 1-6. Please R.S.V.P. Beth Parsons at 519-434-5526 by Thursday, September 15th if you are able to come. There is no cost and you are more than welcome to bring a friend.
Calvary Fun Camp
Registrations are now available for Calvary Sunday school resuming on September 11th. The forms are available in the office or at the back of the sanctuary.
