A tradition of service. Christ Church gives the second highest percentage of identified givings to the Mission and Service Fund of all the churches in Halton Presbytery. We also support, financially and through volunteers, various local charities including The Compass. Our world outreach efforts extend to the Salvation Army Howard Hospital in Zimbabwe and the Canada Food Grains Bank, among others.

About the Service

Contemporary services every Sunday at 9:02, with a traditional service at 10:30 am.

About the Neighbourhood

With roots in the Clarkson community dating back to the early 1800’s Christ Church is one of the oldest congregations in this area. Our church community includes some whose membership can be traced back several generations as well as those whose faith and life journeys have brought them here from other traditions. Youth and seniors and in-between, all are welcomed and cherished as brothers and sisters in Christ. We are located on a quiet crescent, next to a primary school, in a residential neighbourhood. There is plenty of parking. Our air-conditioned building is accessible - wheelchair parking next to the entrance, ramped entry, elevator access to three levels, accessible washrooms (which include change tables for our babies). Hearing assistance devices are available for use in the Sanctuary during services as well as large print hymn books and bulletins.

What's special about our church?

A warm Sunday welcome!

How do people dress for service?

Some a little dressy, most casual. God doesn’t care what you wear. It’s what’s inside that counts!

What happens after the service?

Coffee, tea, juice and conversation in the lower level auditorium or lemonade on the lawn in summer. If we’re very lucky, there might be leftover treats from the Youth Group meeting or the Church School might have been baking!

Do you have programs for children?

Yes! Our staffed nursery welcomes infants and toddlers up to 3 years of age. We have an active church school program for children 4 – 14. Our Youth Group invites teens and their friends for Friday night fun!
