Dominion-Chalmers is located in the heart of downtown Ottawa, a few blocks from Parliament Hill. After extensive renovations to our building , we are rebuilding our sense of mission and purpose. The mailing address says Cooper Street. We also face O'Connor, where the 'front' door to the sanctuary is. The parking lot is on Lisgar. The Cooper and Lisgar doors are both wheelchair accessible. Whichever door you come in through, a warm welcome awaits you.
About the Service
The service follows a traditional United Church pattern. The music is a mix of traditional, classical, praise choruses and modern music.

What music is played during services?
We have a 3 manual Casavant organ, one of the biggest in the country, so there is lots of organ music, as well as contemporary piano and praise music.
What's heavenly about your church?
The people. The beauty of the building. The divine music. The spirit which is in the air.
How do people dress for service?
Some a little dressy, most casual. Come as you are. A warm welcome awaits you.
What happens after the service?
Coffee, tea and cookiess for those who wish to stick around and chat.
