Emmanuel United Church consists of a multi-use sanctuary, which seats up to 300 people, a Christian Education hall, busy kitchen, choir/music room and youth rooms. There are Nursery and Sunday School programs offered during worship and numerous Christian development, youth, musical, and health and wellness oriented programs offered throughout the week. We have a full-time Minister, Associate Minister, Youth Co-Ordinator, Parish Nurse, Music Director, two Office Administrators and an Organist.

About the Service

During the reconstruction of our Christian Education building, we are holding The Sunday Worship Service at 11:15 am at Rideau Park United Church.  Our activities are being held at St Aidan's Anglican Church.

About the Neighbourhood

We are located on Smyth Road in the Elmvale Acres District of Ottawa, 5 km south-east of Canada's Parliament buildings. The neighbourhood is mainly middle class, consisting largely of well-kept single family homes built in the 1950s, with a lower income area located at the eastern edge of the community.
