It is really a wonderful idea to give devotion towards the god. In almost all kinds of religions music has been played. It is a kind of spiritual pleasure. We can take spiritual pleasure even from reading holy Bible and scripture. http://www.gospellight.com is the link to know about Christianity. You can get pleasure with whole heartily the same as playing the drums to give reverence to the God.

great idea... i have drummed all my life and love to drum within any sacred space... thanks for starting this group... there is nothing more spiritual than drumming which connects us to our blessed earth mother's heart pulse so directly.... which also connects us all... jai ma! to you all! blessings, weaver (((o)))

We are actually having a guest drummer come to our church

I went to a Drumming hosted by a fellow church and I attended with our brand new minister. Well, I had a great time, and the drums were intoxicating, once you learn the basic rythmn the sound of 40 drums beating out a message in response to the leader was truly spiritual. I highly recommend that you give it a try. We are now having our own drumming in April and we have over 25 people signed up, considering we have a small congregation, thats a feat in itself.
