PSYCHOLOGY--THE OFFSPRING OF THEOLOGY AND PNEUMATOLOGY
The following is a collection of thoughts and ideas. Many of them are not original with me. I got them from several sources.
Retirement? Preferring to wear out, not just rust out, I prefer to call it re-directment. Do you remember the slogan "FREEDOM FIFTY-FIVE"? It was used by an insurance company to sell us insurance. But how realistic is such an idea?
GOLD. "TAKE MY SILVER AND MY GOLD ... " are words used in an old hymn.
=======================
This statement poses some very important questions: What comes to mind when we think of silver and gold?
What do they symbolize for us?
To whom are we to give our silver and our?
What is the nature and function of giving?
And what do we expect that the "one" who takes it will do with it?
Isn't it about time we built a bridge over the troubled waters between the sacred and the secular?
Let's begin by accepting the fact that both have much in common and are valid ways seeing and living within what we experience as reality, the now.
Will someone take me by the hand and tell me how this is supposed to work? Please!
