The beautiful "little white Church on Main Street" has been active since 1891, but we're no relic of the past! We're all about spiritual exploration, social justice, invitation and inclusion... and are incomplete without you!! There's an active Healing Pathway ministry - contact the office for details.
We have two services: 10:00 AM Sunday, featuring music from More Voices and Voices United and "Godly Play" children's programming; and 7:15 PM Wednesday, a contemplative, lay-led worship time known as Evensong which has to be experienced. Our historic sanctuary has pitch-perfect acoustics, and is filled with people who love to sing! We can accurately be described as progressive in our politics, theology and understanding of inclusiveness. Get here early to make sure you get a seat!!.
Look any direction from our Church building and you see the awe-inspiring Rocky Mountains. We're at the entrance to downtown Canmore, a resort and recreation community of 12,000 which swells to 18,000+ on weekends. There is very strong ecumenical cooperation in Canmore, with Church volunteers taking turns assisting with a community Food and Friends night, served every Monday night from 5-7 pm at St. Michael's Anglican Hall. This free supper is for ALL residents and visitors, a great place to meet your neighbour and have a hearty meal.
