Robertson -Wesley is home to a vibrant, inclusive community near the funky 124th Street area of Edmonton, (sandwiched between the Glenora and Oliver neighbourhoods). Many people gather at this historic red brick building to carry out God's work in a variety of ways. R-W is a place to grow spiritually through programs for children, youth, young adults and seniors. The senior choir, handbell choir and guest musicians provide music for Sunday morning worship and special concerts. In addition to Sunday morning worship, there are alternative worship services on Sunday evenings.The Outreach committee holds monthly community dinners, sponsors refugees and assists other social agencies. A variety of study opportunities facilitate thought-provoking theological exploration. Both the Cantilon Choir and the Alberta Baroque Ensemble practice and perform in the acoustical excellence of the sanctuary. Many other groups, such as Alcoholic Anonymous, make R-W their meeting place. The Memorial Hall was built after the war to honour our veterans and encourage fellowship.

The church is located across the street from the Mountain Equipment Co-op store and is one block from 124th street---the original West End, also known for its specialty shopping and arts district, in particular, The Gallery Walk.

What programs do you have for young people?
From September to June each year we have Kids' Church and Youth Group programs. We also have a wide range of young adult activities.
What music is played during services?
One can hear music by both classical and contemporary composers.
What happens after the service?
Coffee, tea and snacks in the Memorial Hall for those who want to stick around and chat.
What if I can't make it to services on Sunday morning?
On some Sunday evenings there is an alternative service, each with a different flavour.
What's heavenly about your church?
The warmth and inclusive welcome of this long-standing congregation, closely followed by the organ, a free-standing instrument with 36 stops and 2750 pipes to resonate the sounds of music.
How do people dress for service?
Some a little dressy, most casual.
