Welcome to St. Mary's Road United Church! We are a community dedicated to uplifting and meaningful worship, and a community that believes our faith calls us to real action in our lives, in the community and in the world. At St. Mary's Road, we experience worship through 3 unique worship Paths. The Tree of Life honors the richness of our heritage, The Journey explores faith though the culture and media of today,and Rainbow a service designed specifically for children. We believe that exciting and new things are happening here and we are very energized by new directions the spirit is taking us. If you are looking for a church home or are just looking for a place to feel the spirit for today, we invite you to spend some time with us.
About the Service
10:15 am Sunday Morning - coffee is on at 9:30. There are 3 worship Paths. The Journey, our contemporary service. Tree of Life, our traditional service and Rainbow, for children.
About the Neighbourhood
Our Church is in Old St. Vital. This neighbourhood is contains many post-war era houses and has some fascinating history dating back to when it was the City of St. Vital.

Our Ministry Team
Russell Wardell, Susan Tough are our ministry team at SMRUC. Rick Unruh is our music director in the Journey, and Eric Lucier is our choir director and organist.
What is worship like in the Tree of Life?
This is a traditional United Church worship, but with many creative elements added in. We are lead in music by our choir and the organ or piano.
What is worship like in the Journey?
The Journey is lead in music by a band. We use lots of images, sounds as well as spoken work to help us deal with the complex issues of life and faith.
What is worship like in Rainbow
Different ages of children gather in different parts of the church. We experience worship through song, crafts, sacred stores, games and conversation.
Besides worship, what is there?
Ours is a very active community throughout the week. There are small groups that you can be involved in for fellowship, worship, study and outreach. Ask for our Small Group Directory.
