Trail United Church (TUC) or “the Heritage Church”, is located in downtown Trail, beside city hall. The main office for the pastoral charge is located within, as are offices for both Liz and Keith. It features a beautiful sanctuary, a large hall, a lending library, a commercial kitchen, and numerous other rooms. As such, many community groups regularly meet on its premises. TUC hosts a weekly food bank as well as a quilting group and a United Church Women's (UCW) group and a monthly Downtown Dinner.
In 2008 the Trail United Church won Best Institution Garden Award thanks to the efforts of congregation members.

The smelter in Trail operated by Teck Resources and service industries based at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital, School District 20 and Fortis are the largest employers in the area. Selkirk College provides many educational opportunities for students of all ages.
The City of Trail and surrounding areas are proud to be The Home of Champions. From the legacy of the Trail Smoke Eaters winning the World Hockey Championships in 1939 and 1961, to our own Jason Bay playing for the Boston Red Sox, we have a strong tradition of athletic excellence.
