Connex, Issue 26: Now Online! (for lay and ministry leaders of the UCoC)

Spring is here (mostly), and so is your March issue of Connex. We apologize that it’s a bit late, but there is a lot of important information about our upcoming transfer of The Benefits Centre to Aon Hewitt, and that delayed our production a bit.

Issue 26, March 2011 Highlights:
  • Aon Hewitt will begin processing pension and benefits administration requests on July 1, 2011. 
  • Blackout period (NO REQUESTS will be processed): May 1 to July 1.Read more on p. 2.
  • PC-MEPS updates on next steps as review of pastoral-relations policies continues.
  • More online resources for treasurers and payroll administrators; Erik Mathiesen offers videos on congregational finance and payroll.
Connex 27 (May) will contain more details on the transfer to Aon Hewitt: what will change; what will remain the same; and how improved communication among members, treasurers, and service providers will mean faster and better information for everyone.
There is also a ‘Welcome Package’ that is scheduled to come out in early June. This is going to be a hard copy mailing, so please watch for it. E-list subscribers will get a reminder when the packages are mailed out to watch for them!
