I think that's brilliant, Pinga!
We have the technology, so if it were up to me, I'd definitely use it - it engages visually, aurally, and it's funny. AND I like the gender-role reversal.
I watched some of their other videos, too - the ones just of moving clouds, or prairie grasses, and I thought what a neat way to visually accompany a time of contemplation or silent thanksgiving.
One time I did our "Moment for Social Justice" announcement just by showing a silent video of people in Africa scooping dirty water and carrying it home in plastic buckets on bicycles. I thought it made the point better than I could.

How often would you use it? Every Sunday? It might get shop worn and ignored after most have seen it?

in fact, it may just be a one-time usage kinda thing.

Yes Pinga, I can see it being effective if used only once - during a service calling for volunteers. It might be good to have several similar ones about other volunteer positions and run them, one a Sunday, for a month - calling for volunteers for various positions in the church.
I really couldn't figure out what it was getting at until it zeroed in on the baby - but then it all made sense. Maybe run it during announcements - and then have it on the wall during fellowship time.

NEver. I didn't even watch the whole thing once.
Given the videos you have posted so far I wouldn't bother with the software package.
All they seem to be is bells and whistles and trying to be popular. I sort of have to agree with DKS (and I hate doing that) on this subject.
Visual posting of hymsn and liturgy is great. Trying to add in pictures once in a while is not bad (But is an enormous time suck). I simply don't have the time or temperament to do the whole video thing (includign still pictures)

the software isn't about the video's gord..
the software is about doing the presentation and allowing multiple media formats, material provided by alternates to be seamlessly integrated.
In other words, it is about removing the "time suck"

I doubt it removes the time suck.
The suck isn't in the preparing. It is in the previewing and choosing.
In both openoffice and pp the adding in has been fairly easy in what I have done. (although there is a problem in openoffice and music clips I have yet to fix--it just doesn't act like pp in that one

Back to the video - I enjoyed it - it caught my attention/curiosity, made me smile & laugh out loud, opened the door to people volunteering in different capacities than they assume possible. So yes, I'd use it (if my church used projection that is!)
