On me is the joke - My phone went dead, in my pocket, when I was preaching, Only I heard it, but it did make miss a word or two.  No one noitced but it bothered me.  

LOL Pan! Something similar happened at a service that I was at. A phone started ringing in the middle of the prayer and the minister started looking around to see whose phone it was. He looked perplexed as nobody seemed to be turning it off - and that's when he realized it was actually his phone! LOL!

LOL. I facilitate groups for impaired drivers. Cell phones are expected to be turned off. I usually have mine on silent, so never give it a thought. I often have it in the room with me since it is also my calendar, etc. Well, imagine my embarrassment when it rang during group one time..........I've been particularly conscientious since that incident.  Oh, and yes my group gave me grief for it too.....deservedly so btw.

I gave that minister a pretty good ribbing after the service, as he and I have spoken in the past about how annoying it can be when cell phones go off at inopportune moments!

We have played this video clip before the church service starts from time to time...always makes folks chuckle...and no phones ring during the service...LOL
