I do not know where to post this issue.
Thing is my presbytery is planning on electing general council commssioners next month for the 205 general council.
I am willing to be a lay commissioner. In deed I would love to be involved in this vey importantministry, and I know I have much to offer. In past I have served since 1995 on variuous church boards and committees. Dealing primarily with issues of structure and finance.
Thing is I am seeking resources on how to best discern whether God is truly calling me to be a commissioner, or is it my own will talking.
Any suggestions. I must try and by as faith lead as possible.
Shalom
Rodney
