WC2: The Results are In

The polls have closed, the ballots are counted, the scrutineers have signed off on the result. Now there is only thing left to do. Publicize the results. And for this ballot, no political careers were at stake (Bonjour, Mme. Marois).
We had 47 voters turn up at the polls, ten more than when we voted on the name. That alone is a good thing. 
For the mission statement, all 47 voted with 46 (97.87%) in favour and 1 opposed. Motion to approve is carried.
For the "Who are we?" statement, 46 voted and 1 abstained (hit Skip) with 42 (91.3%) in favour and 4 opposed. Motion to approve is carried.
Thanks to all who voted for participating. The increase in the number voting is a sign (I hope) that we are building some momentum here and the strong support for both motions shows a degree of unity that should help maintain that momentum going forward.

Thank you Mendalla, and all...
So good to be aware that our diverse stand points have been focused and brought to an expression of common cause. I suspect that unity inclusive of diversity is a key element of moving towards realization of the opportunity now present to us, each as all.
As Pinga had it earlier along the way: "One more step along the world we go."
May I release this result in other contexts? I am thinking of Facebook and United Future. Will wait for direction.

So out of the loop these days. Can't even begin to catch up, but I would very much appreciate a note via wondermail regarding WC2 and how to access. I haven't had consistant internet access for the last few months, but would still like to check in. Thanks.

It's still under development, ninjafaery. We will be launching a series of new discussions on it shortly with a view to getting a governance structure and other administrative details sorted out while we on the admin team get it up and running.
So, nothing to access yet but lots of information coming real soon.
