And I am sure you have yours half written Richard--for a Manual wonk like yourself this must be a heaven-sent opportunity

*ROTFL* Too true, my friend, too true!

The thing is, I've had it half-written for a month.

I need to get the other half written and send it in!

The downside of "youthful spirits" rather than 'youth under 25 for real' taking the survey is that it'll skew the results...pass it on to 2 people under 25, though, and you'll make us So Happy !!

Actually, I should have directed you to the 'over 25' information on this: Richard and some will have seen it on the Church Leadership Network (???) already:

See full article: http://www.united-church.ca/communications/news/general/100715b

The General Council Office is collecting feedback on how processes, for everything and anything, can be simplified.

We know there are a lot of opinions out there, so please: offer them here, or go to the full article (link above) and contact the office directly with your comments and contributions to this initiative.

Comments will be collected until October 8, 2010.

 Thanks for posting this, Martha.

I had seen the initial information when it was posted on GC's website. I'm glad that the deadline is October, because I'd like to bring together a couple of gatherings of the Church Board to get their take on things, as well.

The deadline for the "Adult" input is actually October 1, 2010.  I don't why there's a difference in data cut-off dates, but as we all know, these are more .... guidelines :)

Please do: share, discuess, participate!!  Be a part of the process.

I'm commenting only to bump this up the list a bit: shallow, I know.

Hilary, my colleagues assure me that at 25 you are absolutely still "a youth"; thanks so much for completeing the survey.  Please do pass it on!

Well since "young" in many church circles means anyone under 40, or even 50.....

Well, if you ask me, I know exactly what is wrong with youth today.

I'm not one of them.

Hahaha: RJM.   It's not the youth that need fixing!

Exactly.
