The discrimination is terrible. It’s the education part that really gets me, because it takes away the ability for them to have the power change there life or the life’s of those around them. If they have no choice, they have no freedom.
The video is very powerful.

and it doesn't even touch on FGM, the right to kill a woman if she dishonours her family, or any of the other brutal acts that are legal in some countries...
man. it really makes you feel lucky to be a woman in canada in 2009.

Let us not get too complacent about how young women are treated in this country. The abuse may not be so blatantly obvious but the motivations for the abuse are the same around the world.
