If I had the time and the money, this 10-30-10, I would go to Washington DC to see two TITANS battling for the very spirit of the US.
Ah, sweet hilaritas. This is my kind of activism.

Hi InannaWhimsey,
I think that it is really convenient for them to hold their rallies so close together. That way one could do both.
It's like a Resse's Protestbutter cup. Two great causes that work great together.
Grace and peace to you.

The "March to Keep Fear Alive" is absolutely right - "reason" is only one letter away from "treason!" Hmmm. That's some deep thinking! I'm suspicious.
And as for the "Rally to Restore Sanity" - wow! Do they ever need to get their facts straight. They say that October 30 is a date of no significance whatsoever. Didn't they know that, according to Wikipedia, October 30 is the day when in 1501 occurred "the Ballet of Chestnuts - a banquet held by Cesare Borgia in the Papal Palace where fifty prostitutes or courtesans (my note: you had to get a lot closer than I would have been willing to get to discover which ones were mere prostitutes and which ones were courtesans) are in attendance for the entertainment of the guests." That the "Rally to Restore Sanity" would besmirch such a historically significant date is reprehensible. I think we need to stand up to honour the memory of Borgia, the prostitutes and courtesans and guests and not allow this to happen!

I want to be there soooo badly. But even if we get a sitter and fly, we can't get back in time.
