For a little more than a year, Namana and I have been maintaining both our old farm residence and our new retirement residence on the 11th floor of a non profit senior's friendly apartment building on the right side of downtown Regina.
Come spring the acreage will probably be sold.
Namana and I are accepting the transition. Somewhat sad. Somewhat happy. Actually things are working out very well so far, thanks in part to my friends here at WonderCafe.

Naman - thank you for sharing the probable upcoming changes in your lives. Change is not easy - even good change. There must be a lot of emotion invovled in your decisions, and I'm sure that if the decision to sell the acreage is final there will be a lot of emotion, and time of grieving, when that happens. Keep us posted as to how you are doing with all of this. Wishing you an abundance of hope, peace, joy, love as you continue to work this out.

Thanks for the reassurances Tabitha and Beloved. Our realtor says we can be expecting to receive the first offer on our acreage fairly soon.
Every now and then Namana says that she is going to miss this place. But, we tend to forget about it when we are in Regina.

Naman, I do like easy transitions..ones that allow us to put a foot in each spot. The final move is never easy, but, still much easier than a sudden jump.
may bhe sale go well and may the transition be smooth

What a change that is naman - from living so connected to earth, to now dwelling far above it. I do imagine it has been quite an adjustment, and it's terrific that you've had time to make the shifts. But as you say, there are a very normal myriad of feelings - more will come as things start to crystalize in the form the actual sale. The acreage will soon occupy a different space in the 'grand bookshelf' that reflects your life.
Wishing you, as others have, a smooth transition.
