That's your typical scam template website, with a video of a C-level celebrity who will hype anything for a fee.

Do an ounce of research and you'll find the study that "Dr. Oz" is citing had 16 participants.

Could green coffee beans be part of a weight loss regimen? Sure. Maybe they help a bit, but the claims on that site are insane. 15 lbs monthly? By taking coffee bean extract? Right.

Just like religion, when something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Edit: The website won't even let you close it without a popup box? LMAO!

Idiotic scammers. Stay away.

Green coffee bean extract is caffeine

Waterfall - I have heard of this.  Having it connected to Dr Oz is a warning to me - he seems to endorse anything at all if he can get money for doing so.  From my own reading over the years I seem to have heard that too much caffeine is not healthy for our bodies.  Extracts may/may not be consistent in the amounts of the various ingredients.  For me green coffee bean extract isn't something I want to take.

The above information that I submitted was sent to me in an email, so it's probably a matter of time before someone sends it to others.

I don't watch Dr. Oz at all, in fact I've just completed intentionally going without a TV for a period of 10 months and have just recently reinstalled my cable. I highly recommend this method for weight loss LOL!

It's interesting that I can find very little scientific research on the web without it being a site that sells the green coffee beans. Probably because there really hasn't been that much offical study.

Witch, I realize that coffee beans contain caffeine, but what they are suggesting is that the roasting process reduces the amount of chlorogenic acid that is the effective ingrediant in the beans for weight loss. So I looked up a site for  chlorogenic acid and not even sure this is a reliable source.

Forwarded emails are lies and scams. Almost without exception.

waterfall - did you try searching via Google Scholar?  That usually will net you more "scientific" research that's been published.

I don't think there's likely to be a magic pill or anything that works wonders and is safe to use.  I've lost 12.5 lbs by using the free MyFitnessPal program to track my food.  I set my goal at a very doable 1700 calories per day, I enter in my food and just by tracking it, I'm usually more conscious of what I'm eating and try to make better choices.  I'm starting to add in some exercise now, too.  Nothing dramatic...just taking a few more walks when the weather is nice.  I'm thinking of joining the rec. centre just to step it up a notch.

Here's the thing about weight loss: it's possible to lose weight really fast doing a bunch of different things, most of which aren't very healthy, but unless it's a permanent lifestyle change, the weight won't stay off.  I can't guarantee that my weight will stay off, either, but I think I have a better chance of it sticking because I've made such tiny changes and I'm only losing about 1.5 lbs per week.  Yes, it's annoying to know that it will take me a long time to get to my goal, but just eating healthier and being more active is helping me to feel better physically.

Sounds too good to be true.

A website that claims green coffee bean extract can melt off pounds "sounds too good to be true," but a book that says a guy died 2000 years ago so you can live forever, doesn't?!?
